Cape Town-based and registered in 2008, Staplenet Systems has been installing DSTV across the city for almost two decades. From a single decoder in a flat to multi-dish, multiswitch setups for guesthouses and complexes — it's what we do every day.

We're a DSTV Accredited Installer, trained on every generation of decoder Multichoice has shipped, from the original PVR through the Explora Ultra. We know where DSTV signal goes wrong in this city, and how to make it stop.

Things customers usually ask first.

How soon can you install?

For straightforward residential jobs in Cape Town we aim for same-day or next-day. Larger commercial work and headend installs are booked in once we've quoted on site.

Do you work weekends or after hours?

Yes — Saturday call-outs are routine, and Sunday work is by appointment. After-hours emergency callouts are available; just phone us.

I have fibre at home — do I still need a satellite dish?

If you're staying on DSTV's full satellite service, yes. DSTV Stream-only customers don't, but they lose access to some channels. We can talk you through what each option gets you.

My DSTV signal keeps dropping. Can you help?

Yes — signal drop-outs are one of the most common things we fix. It's usually one of: dish alignment, a corroded LNB, a damaged or kinked cable, or a loose connector. We diagnose and fix, not guess.

Do you work outside Cape Town?

We primarily cover Cape Town and surrounding suburbs. For work further out, call us — we'll let you know up front whether we can take it on.

What does the one-year workmanship guarantee cover?

Anything that fails because of how we installed it — cabling, brackets, alignment, connections. Hardware is separately covered by the manufacturer warranty that came with it. No nasty surprises in the small print.
